Well, I have been in sunny Crete for almost four months now and what can I say? The weather is beautiful; almost every day has been hot and sunny with temperatures well above 30 degrees and many days, above 40!! (Lucky for some huh!!!)

I always manage to throw myself into the sea every morning for a swim and I just love riding around on my fluorescent green scooter which is called Popcorn……… It is just a name, I say LOL.

Recently I hired a small car and went driving in the mountains to the north of Malia which is where I am living. We drove to a beautiful village called Krassi that has a quaint tavern with a 2000 year old tree that it is built around.

After we had some coffee, we then drove along the very windy roads to the Lassithi Plateau which is very high up with outstanding scenery and extraordinary views back down towards the coast.

We visited the Dikta Caves which is where mythology would have you believe that Zeus’ mother hid and gave birth to him as his father was rumoured to be going to eat him when he was born!

After seeing the beautiful surroundings of the Lassithi Plateau, we drove across the mountains and down to the nice resorts of Elounda and Agios Nikolaos.

I am now looking for a house to rent for early in 2009 and will return to the UK at the end of October until the New Year before making this my permanent home.

So I have an exciting few months ahead of me and lots to arrange…..

 Just to let you know, all the anxious waiting is over.

CM Hopp’s granddaughter, Baby Isabelle was finally born Friday morning at 6.50am weighing in at 7lbs 8oz. Mother, father, daughter and Mr/Mrs Hopp all doing well!!

Congratulations, she is beautiful!

This week we thought we would let you know what CMTunaman is up to over in Greece! We couldn’t wait to catch up with him and find out how it’s going setting up his new life!

So are you all settled in over there now hun?
Well, I have now been here for nearly 4 weeks and so much has happened since  I stepped off the plane. I have now settled into my rented apartment having  spent lots of Euro’s buying basic things to make it more comfy for me. After  getting my satelite 3G broadband set up, it was back to work last Monday andm it was if I had not been away LOL!!

Go on then make us jealous, what’s the weather been like?
The last 4/5 days have been scorchers! The tan is coming along nicely LOL!!  I’m also managing to get to the beach every morning for a swim and some sun.

Oooo nice for some eh? So what have you been getting up to, apart from work  of course!
Yesterday, I starred in a movie as an extra. It is a film called West is Eden. It was great fun although I didn’t get to meet anyone famous. At the end of the day, they gave us €100 each which was a great bonus when we had had such a fun day and were not expecting to get paid.

Wow that sounds great, I bet you’ve got load more to tell us, can’t wait for the next installment!

CM Star Cont…..

I started the truth or dare game and found out some interesting facts about our roomies some I can not dare to mention, you know who you are if you are reading this bow your heads in shame lmao

xxaerialmanxx has a spooky tale or two to tell lmaoo I am sure if you ask him nicely he will enlighten you to his spooky tale,

Kerry forgot she is a married woman loll,

Luckystreak wants to own a celebrity slave that will obey her every command,

Chris wants to smother me in cream then lick it of me lmao not sure what my hubby would say to that loll,

littlepink has a great finger voice she sang *5 in the bed and little one said roll over roll over*, I am sure she could top the charts with her classic version of it,

bjsbabes can do a great rendition of the music man and she even managed to get the roomies from room 1 to join in the chorus for her dare needless to say she won her pound loll.

The highlight of the shift was the roomies selecting me to do a truth or dare needless to say they came up with a dare for me to go into room 2 and sing agadooo which I rose to the occasion and did it rofl.

That has got to be one of the funniest shifts I have done since I started at crown bingo every day is a laugh in the rooms but that has go to be the best yet for me and the roomies all joining in made it a great night.

I finally left chat and jumped in the bath and as I put my head on the pillow I had a quick laugh as I thought about how my day was and had ended and thought about tomorrow, then again tomorrow never comes loll.

A day in the life of CM Star…..

I started my day getting up around 8am, my other half was still asleep so I sneaked of downstairs and made myself a cuppa, I thought I better do some cleaning.

Why is it at this time of year we feel the need to do a spring clean? I carried on with task in hand and my hubby made an appearance and thought I was on a mission.

We then decided to take a trip to the shops, this is no easy task, why? I hear you cry well let me tell you about it…. in my husbands wallet he has guests and when the wallet opens they want to escape and they cause a scene these guests are the moth family watch out for them they do tend to hide in most men’s wallets!

We went to Yeovil town to do some shopping I went to the cash machine I popped in the card and out popped my cash, I screamed *I have won* I have won!* To everyone’s dismay, “That’s the 3rd time in a week I had a win at the cash machine” I shrieked as I walked away, needless to say the people waiting thought I had lost the plot and my hubby hurried away. I got what I wanted and we headed home.

I had to make dinner pretty fast as I had a chat shift at 7 and was now approaching 6pm. I thought long and hard on this and what I could make for dinner quickly decision was made in 2 minutes…. I sent hubby to the chip shop he he!

I munched that down then headed to the den for my shift, the room was fairly quiet as I entered, I got my binoculars out and who should I see you guessed it luckystreak followed by littlepink and some others, I mentioned to them I had a game for them that I was going to play that night and the game was called truth or dare, luckystreak was jumping up and down with excitement, we played some trivia first to get the room warmed up.

CM HOPP Cont…

4.40pm & I am once again sat at the computer desk, loading up my questions for the quiz, & my 2 reports that will need to be completed. Then I check my e-mails again to see if anything new is there, I keep hoping to open one saying congratulations you have won………. But it never happens. I really must enter more competitions…lol.

5pm & my second shift of the day starts. After the normal round of hi roomies & muahs, I settle in for the evening. By 5.45pm almost everyone who will be doing the quiz is in the room, so I start taking my register, putting all the names of players who will be staying on my report, I do love excel it does all the adding up for u, so at least I don’t have to keep stopping & adding up scores.

6pm & the quiz starts, as usual Hainsy_2008 keeps score to make sure my results are correct, & referee chilled watches that I give out the correct scores after each question. When there is a dispute, roomies saying that the order of answers is different on their screens to mine, chilled pops up with, the final decision is the CMs, & it is her screen that counts. Well done chilled. After many giggles over the questions (I try & find questions that I know will elicit funny answers) & answers my sides are aching, my cheeks are wet with tears the quiz ends. I give out the scores & the winners are congratulated by all in the room.

After completing the scores it is time for one last chat game to see out the shift. Roomies begin to drift away to go & get their dinners etc, & I try & tidy up my A4 book where I keep all the roomies numbers for games, oops missed some lasagne there.

9pm arrives & its time to log off. I check my report tallies correctly then e-mail it in. Off goes the computer & off I go to sit down for the first time all day & have a relaxing cuppa to the sounds of Mr Hopp asleep on the sofa. Seems like a good idea that, I start to watch something on the TV but drift off before it finishes.

5.15am Mr hopp gets up & the day starts all over again.

CM HOPP cont…

Room 1 at 9am is not exactly the busiest place to be, so it s nice to ease gently into the working day. Hotshuff1 is usually around in one of her many guises, depending on whether CM Sapphire has given her a new name or not. As always I start the chat games with Roulette, & the morning shift begins. As more of the regular roomies come in to play I like to try to remember which numbers they usually pick for chat games. Chilled always has 72 for example, hotstuff1 number 53, indiaq 24 or 39.

At some point during the morning the question of tonight’s quiz arises, what is the topic, what time does it start, what room is it in? All question easily answered by yours truly. This is met by the usual groans of protest, no matter what the topic someone always moans, lol.

1pm arrives & its time for me to log off & have 4 hours rest. Did I say rest? As if. We are decorating at the moment so its off to get the scraper & the bowl of water, & the steamer. Today I am attacking the l&ing. Up the stairs I go with tools. Now bear in mind I get vertigo sooooooo attacking the stair well gets left for Mr Hopp to do, I just do the parts I can reach without having to lean over banisters. Why oh why was wood chip ever invented, it such a pain to remove, as the owners before us, who having a hard time getting it off found out & decided to leave parts of it & just paper over it instead. Grrrrrrr. But I persevere, knowing that once it is all off the walls will look so much better flat & smooth. So for 3 hours I paint water onto walls, then scrape off paper, then go back with steamer to get the stubborn bits off.

Girls get back from school at 3.40, thank god for school buses. They both sound off at me getting rid of their daily moans about how life is unfair (I am st&ing on a step at this point covered in wallpaper bits n plaster dust, yeah life is unfair I think to myself) After 5 minutes of listening to them I get back to paint & scrape, paint & scrape. Oh oh I look at my watch & notice that its just after 4pm, I’d better get something sorted for dinner.

I race downstairs with tools in tow, & go to the shed in my back garden where my freezer is kept. (Badly designed kitchen means no room for freezer in there, lol). After a quick look thru I decide on Lasagne, quick n easy to cook, plus its easy to eat at my desk while doing the quiz. Back in the kitchen all is prepared for the evening meal.

 DAY IN THE LIFE OF CM HOPP

05.15 & Mr Hopp gets up for work. He is a very quiet chap, stomps around bedroom getting dressed, then goes downstairs for a cuppa. BANG goes the cupboard as he tries to be quiet putting kettle on. For the next half hour all is quiet, then he makes his way back up the stairs & crash bang wallop, he goes into bathroom for his morning ablutions……has a wash…..then comes in to kiss me goodbye, & make sure I’m awake I’m sure, then leaves & goes to work.

PEACE reins once more. Oops, spoke too soon, 6.15 am & mini Hopp’s alarm goes off, up she gets to get ready for her morning paper round. Another round of cupboard doors slamming as she gets her first breakfast. Half an hour later she heads out the front door. Why cant people ever learn to close doors quietly in my house I will never know. At this point any last vestiges of sleep have completely gone so I give in & get up.

Once I’m washed n dressed I go & make my first cuppa of the day & turn on the computer. Better check e-mail, you never know what going to be happening today…lol. Before I have finished reading e-mails mini Hopp is back from her paper round & proceeds to make breakfast number 2. I don’t know where she puts it all.

Time to catch up on the news now before starting work at 9am. But would you believe it, midi Hopp is now awake & in an argumentative mood, typical. No time to watch news as have to separate the girls so that I can keep what left of my sanity. Hurry up 8am so that they can go to school & I can have peace & quiet.

At last peace, both girls go out the front door & peace descends upon the Hopp household. I get myself another cup coffee & return to the pc. Yup its quiz night tonight, now what shall I do questions on this week. Hmm. I know, humanology, my human body & medicine quiz, the roomies like that. I spend the next ¾ hour finding questions for the quiz. Time flies past & it is nearly 9am, better log on to crown so I’m not late for work.

What can i say… my days are jam packed n crazy!!!!

Wake up to my little girl….turn on Cbeebies…and do the Boogie Bop!!

Singing, Dancing, Having fun just me and my little one.

We have lunch go for a shop…come home and still don’t stop.

My job is as crazy as being at home…non stop giggles….all day long.

There’s VIXEN01 who just loves taking the mick! LMAO

BJSBABE waltzers into the room singing ‘I am the music man’ LOL

TURFLANERZ and ANGEL2108 give me tummy ache from laughing (don’t ask LOL)

NOT to mention LOSER_HELP_XXXX giving me a dare so they can all have a laugh at my expense…hehehe…(I must be crazy!!)…..

Yeah, I do think u have to be slightly mad to be to be a CM…

some of the roomies are so lovable, but the rest are just totally outrageous!!!
