Each month on Crown Bingo we have a Charity Bingo Night where we give 50% of the prize fund between 7-9pm to a chosen Charity.

Hi Roomies, it is Chinese New Year on the 3^rd February!!! To celebrate all things oriental, we have some fabulous promotions for you.  From Wednesday 2nd through until Tuesday 8th Feb we will have an hour of Chinese themed chat games every night in Rm 2 from 8-9pm.

We will also have a guaranteed prize pot of £80 on the 8pm game in Rm 2 from 2nd-8th Feb. On top of this, Bingo on the number 8 in any 90 ball room during the same dates and you will win a fab bonus credit of £8!! (Bonus funds will be credited automatically the next working day).

Thank you to all the Roomies who part in Charity Bingo on the 10th January. We successfully raised £170 for The Pulmonary Hypertension Association. The money which was raised will go towards helping fund research for this disease.

Pulmonary Hypertension is a serious and rare lung disease that causes the blood pressure in the arteries to increase which puts pressure on the heart and reduces the amount of oxygen that is able to reach other parts of the body.

Pulmonary Hypertension is an extremely rare condition with approximately 6000–8000 people in the UK living with the condition. The disease can often take up to two years to be diagnosed.
The Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK (PHA UK) is a national medical charity that provides support, help, understanding and information for all those who are affected by this disease, including patients, family and medical professionals.

Join us on Monday 10th January in Room 2 between 7-9pm to help support this fantastic Charity.

Thank you to everybody who took part in Charity Bingo last night in Room 2. We raised a fantastic £112.77 for The East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The money we raised will go towards helping the Air Ambulance which operates across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Norfolk and Suffolk. The Air Ambulance  deals with life threatening situations daily and therefore makes a huge difference to the areas which they operate in.

Well done to all the Roomies who helped support this fantastic Charity!

Tonight we will be raising money for The Poppy Appeal. Each year The Poppy Appeal raises money on behalf of The Royal British Legion which is one of the nations best loved Charities.

The focus of this years appeal is on the Afghan Generation. The money we raise through Charity Bingo will go towards helping men and women serving in Afghanistan and also to their families at home. The money raised will also go towards helping both serving and ex-serving Armed Forces as well as their families who may be in need.

Join us tonight in Room 2 where we will give 50% of the prize pools between 7-9pm to the Poppy Appeal.

On the 13th September we raised an amazing £218.35 for The Grace House North East Children’s Hospice appeal. The money raised will help build  a new hospice facility in Sunderland that will compliment existing services in the area.

Thank you to everyone who also took part in October’s Charity Bingo on Monday 11th October. We managed to raise £194 for the Callum Green Fund.

Next month our Charity of the Month will be The Poppy Appeal who support the work of The Royal British Legion. Look out for later in the Month for more details about how you can help support this fantastic charity.

That’s right fundraising Roomies, our Charity Bingo night is back on Monday 13th Sept when we’ll be raising essential funding for Grace House.

The Grace House North East Children’s Hospice appeal is raising funds to build a new hospice facility in Sunderland that will compliment existing services in the area. The hospice will have 6 bedrooms all with en-suite facilities, a teenager den, a multi-sensory room and 4 family rooms allowing families to stay together if they wish. It will also offer a hospice-at-home service.

Care will be provided for children and their families and will continue into bereavement for as long as needed. Building work is schedule to start in October 2010 and will take 12-14 months to complete. Unfortunately there is no Government funding to build children’s hospices and therefore every penny needs to be raised through donations from the public.

And that’s where you come in – join us in Room 2 between 7-9pm to raise as much as possible as 50% of the prize pool will be donated to this fantastic charity!

Carers UK support carers through a network of local groups and membership. They provide nearly 20,000 carers a year with advice and information and campaign to get carers a better deal. They are a UK-wide charity with offices in London, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

They receive no funding currently to support a network of nearly 50 local groups.  Local groups provide an invaluable service by providing a listening ear, advice on local support, rural transport and sitting services so a carer can get out for a much needed break.

Join us on Monday 9th August in Room 2 between 7-9pm where we will be donating 50% of the prize pools to this fantastic charity!

Tonight from 7-9pm in Room 2 we’re hosting our June Charity of the Month game, where 50% of the jackpot total will be donated to Whizz Kidz.

They’re a fantastic charity, allowing disable children and young people the chance to live independent lives and we want to donate the highest possible amount to them – so invite all your bingo friends along this evening from 7-9pm!
