This month we are supporting the East Anglian Air Ambulance alongside CM Sapphire. 

Every year CM Sapphire decorates her house and garden with thousands of xmas lights to raise money for the air ambulance as part of her local newspaper ‘lights for life’ appeal.

She took over this role a year ago after her dad, who raised money decorating his house and garden for several years, had a heart attack and was unable to do it any longer so cm sapphire stepped into the breach (plus gained more lights from her dad) and set her hubby to work putting up all the lights ready for 1st Dec switch on….. (CM Sapphire don’t do ladders lol) so she just pointed out where he was going wrong (he is male after all) and supervised

This April we are hosting a charity bingo night that will take place on Monday 14th April. In keeping with our charity this month, St Oswald’s Hospice, we are going to be offering prizes relating to the charity in order to raise awareness.

If you come along to room 2 on the 14th, we will be giving away prizes at random throughout the day. The main prize, 2 tickets to see Circus Starr at Blaydon Rugby Club, Newcastle Upon Tyne*, will be awarded to the Full House winner of the 8pm game, and as usual a 50% cash match to the jackpot of this game will be donated to St Oswald’s Hospice.

A little about the charity….

~St Oswald’s are an independent, self-financing voluntary organisation.

~They are a registered charity and rely on voluntary giving to ensure essential services, with no charge for these services, ensuring access to anyone who needs them.

~The annual running costs exceed £6 million.

~Less than 30% of this sum from local Health Authorities.

~The remaining 70% (approximately £4.5 million) of funding comes through charitable giving.

BallsUp Bingo have praised Crown Bingo in a recent article posted on their blog.

This month you could be selecting the charity we donate to. Just play bingo during our charity bingo night in Room 2 on the 26th of March from 7pm – 9pm. The winner of 2 lines in the 8pm game will be able to select what charity to donate the money to. Don’t forget, we’ll donate 50% of the prize pools from Room 2 during the two hour Charity Bingo period.
